Dr. Al Siebert is Director of The Resiliency Center. He is internationally recognized for his research into the inner nature of highly resilient survivors. He is author of The Resiliency Advantage (released in 2005,) and his book The Survivor Personality, now in its eleventh printing, has been published in six languages. His popular quiz "How Resilient Are You?" has been featured in many publications. He has been interviewed on National Public Radio, the NBC Today Show, and OPRAH.
He is an ex-paratrooper with a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan. He taught management psychology at Portland State University for over thirty years. He has served as chairman of his county school board, and was a volunteer rap group leader with Vietnam veterans.
