Cheryl Matschek, Ph.D.

Cheryl Matschek is President of The Cheryl Matschek Company, Inc., Soaring Horizons®, and Princess Publishing, based in Portland, Oregon. She is an internationally known professional speaker, trainer, consultant, and author.

Cheryl holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology, a Master's degree in behavioral science, a Master's in herbology and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Natural Health, Nutrition and Iridology, and she is a Certified Iridologist. Cheryl has appeared on television and radio talk shows, is the author of several books and articles, and has produced numerous audio cassettes.

Cheryl's vast knowledge, experience, and tremendous insight in business has helped businesses and organizations to become more successful in the areas of leadership, team development, sales and marketing, personal potential, and health. Today she specializes in the areas of leadership, health, and professional practice development, speaking at conferences, conventions, business meetings, and retreats. She is a dynamic individual with challenging messages that have helped change the lives of thousands. Cheryl brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge to business, offering valuable insights and how-to's for developing business and professional teams that are productive, committed, and fun, and building profitable, successful businesses and professional practices that generate satisfaction and fulfillment for all involved.

Prior to beginning her professional speaking career in 1979, Cheryl was a highly successful life insurance agent and Million Dollar Round Table producer for the New York Life Insurance Company, and went on to become one of five women in sales management in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada for the same company at age 28.

In addition to her speaking career, in the mid-90's Cheryl developed a natural health practice which she continues today. Although the demands of her speaking career and natural health practice are many, Cheryl pays attention to balance in her life. She and her husband, J. Norman Matschek, D.M.D., a cosmetic and family dentist in the Portland, Oregon area enjoy their time together growing spiritually and actively participating in their church, traveling, reading, golfing, and relaxing, to remain spiritually, mentally, and physically fit. Al Siebert, Ph.D.

Dr. Al Siebert is Director of The Resiliency Center. He is internationally recognized for his research into the inner nature of highly resilient survivors. He is author of The Resiliency Advantage (released in 2005,) and his book The Survivor Personality, now in its eleventh printing, has been published in six languages. His popular quiz "How Resilient Are You?" has been featured in many publications. He has been interviewed on National Public Radio, the NBC Today Show, and OPRAH.

He is an ex-paratrooper with a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan. He taught management psychology at Portland State University for over thirty years. He has served as chairman of his county school board, and was a volunteer rap group leader with Vietnam veterans.

Al Siebert speaks frequently at conferences for government agencies, health care, Native American, and professional groups.

Gail Tycer, M.S.

Gail Tycer is a professional writer and editor, columnist, speaker, consultant, and coach. She has spent a lifetime studying and teaching the thought process that results in clear, fast, results-oriented writing: what it takes to make a message concise, compelling, convincing. She shares the fascinating results of this continuing study through her workshops, presentations, and consulting nationwide.

Gail has been an advertising agency president, public relations director, radio and television personality and executive, and college professor. As marketing strategist and professional speaker, Gail has worked with top national and international firms. She is the author of the the Quick-Study Guides to strategic business communication, and has published materials ranging from books and articles for the popular market to highly technical material for specialized audiences.

Gail is a professional member of the National Speakers Association. She has earned both graduate and undergraduate degrees in communication, focusing on business applications of communication theory, methods, and techniques. Gail was a founding director of the Oregon Writers Colony, and was among the first recipients nationwide of the Certified Business Communicator designation. She was elected delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in Washington, D.C.
